Our family of Jesus-lovers had a great meeting on Tuesday in Sneads Ferry. I know a few details that look to be exciting! We are all meeting at the Sneads Ferry Community Center at 7:30am. Biscuits will be available for $1 each as long as they last. A team will be preparing and delivering lunches for the workers at their sites, last I heard and those lunches are pre-paid.
Homer Prince is coordinating details. I know of details being conducted at several locations:
- Sneads Ferry Senior Center: Youth are doing a yard/garden project
- Laundromat: Several churches have put together collections of quarters for the Inasmuch team to load in to machines
- Woodbury Nursing home visitation is planned
- We have teams repairing flooring and plumbing for a family who have been without water for a year (Yikes!), removing a dangerous, dilapidated barn, repairing electrical outlet, mowing, power washing, building handicap ramp,
- One team is baking cookies, planning a community prayer walk and visitation in homes
Look for Blue Shirts!
And Pray for energy, safety and seeds to reach fertile soils!
In Christ,
