One of the best outreach programs I have seen at Reed Memorial in many years.

Awesome turn out from the church membership and projects included hand outs at the local laundramat, roof repairs, gutter repairs, lawn care, house cleaning, car washing, local school fence project, meals for elderly, blood pressure check, pillows being made for brest cancer patients, blankets for the local neo-natal unit at the hospital, prayer teams, support services for the teams out working and so forth.

God Blessed the community and the church from taking part in this program.

Our leader, Veryce English, was certainly being led by Christ as she gave our program direction.

A special “thank-you” to Rev. Bill Bailey, pastor of Trinity Baptist Fellowship in Elizabeth City, for all of his hard work and efforts as our Pasquotank County Operation Inasmuch Coordinator. Bill is also on our associational staff for Christian Social Ministries. Thank you, Bill, for encouraging all our churches to be involved in this program, and for bringing our churches together to bless people. Only eternity will show the entirety of its impact!

Metrolina Association has at least ten churches that will be actively participating in OIAM on April 19 in Mecklenburg County. Churches of all sizes are responding to this outstanding opportunity.

Mr. Crocker,

My name is Kathy Johnson. I am participating in OIAS with Green Street Baptist in High Point., NC.

I am also writing about it in a local column.

I have read the State Convention Pages, and the blogs. My column will primarily be interviews with participants.

I think I have plenty of information but wanted to check with you to see if there is anything you feel is important that was not on the website.

It has to have a local focus and is actually only 600 to 1000 words. I have the contacts for NC counties.

Operation Inasmuch, Inc. is pleased to be a full partner in the NC Operation Inasmuch in April. To date about 300 churches have taken advantage of training opportunities to be prepared to lead their church into this exciting experience.
